Windows 7 is not out yet and we know Microsoft is already working on Windows 8. The question I’m asking today is what name should we give to that Windows? Well I have some ideas for its name.

I like Microsoft Windows Aqua, because I can see myself writing a news in 2015 : “Microsoft Windows Aqua leaked”.
One of my other choice is: Microsoft Windows Skynet, I don’t really need to explain why.
What about Microsoft Windows Revolution, you see if they have the name, maybe they will propose something new.
I saw on a serious website Microsoft Windows Vista. I don’t know why someone would name another product by the name of a failure.
I know it’s boring but I’m trying to be serious. I propose Microsoft Windows 8
Enough talk, time to vote! Feel free to propose new names.

Recently we received some questions about how Google uses (or more accurately, doesn’t use) the “keywords” meta tag in ranking web search results.

Suppose you have two website owners, Alice and Bob. Alice runs a company called AliceCo and Bob runs BobCo. One day while looking at Bob’s site, Alice notices that Bob has copied some of the words that she uses in her “keywords” meta tag. Even more interesting, Bob has added the words “AliceCo” to his “keywords” meta tag. Should Alice be concerned? At least for Google’s web search results currently (September 2009), the answer is no. If we compare the price of the IPhone and the one of a Black Berry, I won’t be surprised to see the same concept but with an IPhone, the only difference will be the title: 400 000$ for an IPhone.

I have recently started blogging and as a blogger I have begun to see things differently about how I should surf the net, before I realised this, I was a very bad visitor for other’s sites. I had been using the websites without thinking how much effort people made to put up useful and critical information for me. Now searching method has changed, it might be a little less efficient but I’ve found a lot of information that I would not have seen without my new code of ethic.
